SVMtec
SVMtec was founded in spring 2003 as a department of the TTI GmbH Technology Transfer Initiative at Stuttgart University. In July 2004 the independent SVMtec GmbH company was established.
The two incorporators Dr. Uwe Kaiser and Dr. Detlef Bergmann are aeronautical engineers and earned their doctorate at the Institut für Aerodynamik und Gasdynamik (IAG) on the subjects
”Wind loads on pretensioned membrane structures” (U. Kaiser) and “Experimental determination of instationary aerodynamic coefficients of bridge profiles in a water tunnel” (D. Bergmann)
